Recruiter Job Postings

Sometimes, there's a lot of recruiter bashing on Twitter. People yell and scream that someone dared reach out to them when they aren't looking. Admittedly, sometimes recruiters can take things a bit too far.

Instead of getting angry about it, how about putting your apparent skills and connections to use and help get them to the right person? You might possibly help someone get the career of a lifetime.

Last week, I've started responding to recruiters like this:

Hello ???,

I'm not actually looking for work right now. However, I have some friends that are and can help get you referrals if you'd like.

What type of skills are you looking for? If you send me some details, I can post the job info in either a communinty channel related to your requirements, send it directly to my contacts if I feel they are a good fit, or post about them on Twitter or my blog. Please indicate if the job is remote friendly or where the candidate must reside.

Amazingly, I've already had multiple responses and been able to connect one recruiter directly to a friend that I know is really in need of a job.

Trying to post each one individually on Twitter and my blog will be too difficult; so, I'm going to post them here with the subject "Recruiter Job Postings - Month Year".

If one of them looks interesting, just DM me on Twitter, and I'll send you the contact details.

I sure hope this helps someone that's looking for employment. If you like this idea, please copy it or come up with some other creative idea to lift people up!
